A moving tribute to my beautiful and sublime companion of many years. Tanza was a magnificent and kingly German shepherd who shared all my adventures, river crossing, mountain climbing, the joy and sadness of life. There he is guarding, as always, the ground where I lay, represented by a blanket. What an honor it was to have such an incredible warrior protecting me at all times! How I loved him and how I cried! The green forest is made of steep hills against a brilliant and sunny blue sky in which he ascends. This pastel painting is framed by an elegant gold moulding that highlights the yellows in the art.
