A fantastic and meticulously painted rock formation rises from the sea against a brilliant cadmium yellow sky made of swirls. I challenged myself by first painting this intense sky as background. Intricate and seemingly organic cliffs with elegant arches and suggested passages contrast against the bold and glowing sky and yellow sea.. The fruit of 8 months of work, undoubtedly inspired by my childhood along the cliffs of Bretagne, France. The frame of wood is custom made and a perfect extension of the painting.
