Two stories overlap. One of a woman I loved, her hair, her eyes, her figure. The other of my mother who passed away, the sea on the coast of Bretagne where she lived and her soul moving above the horizon. Above a cliff, a perfect quartz crystal grow. Each place,each emotion seamlessly becomes another, ever changing and dancing like the many facets of consciousness. This pen and ink, about love, beauty and death is narrative and spiritual and conveys the many depths of my soul. Intricate work of 7 to 8 months.
