A graceful woman body represented as a tree and a river against a deep blue night sky. This deeply symbolic and sensual painting reflects a perfect relation between two beings, loving yet separate as when a tree and a river live harmoniously and without dependency. A very powerful and graceful image that I started painting by the Bear River in Northern California and worked later on in my studio. I recall seeing turtles and dragonflies and a magical afternoon in the shade of a wooden bridge.
